Why is there only men, women and everyone?

When we originally started building believr we spent hundreds of hours speaking to the community to ensure we built something that was enjoyable and most importantly safe for everyone but especially those who are marginalized. One theme that came up often from the non-binary and trans community was around being targeted or fetishized through filters on other apps. We made a commitment early on in the app's journey to protect the community from being targeted in any way. We knew this wasn't the ideal for a dating app but we wanted to honor that commitment.
